Jon "Jay" R. Fahs, Jr. | Attorney
JON "JAY" FAHS, JR. was born in St. Petersburg and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Duke University in Durham, NC. Jay is the former Commanding Officer of the USS ALASKA (SSBN-732), a nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine, and former Commanding Officer of the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command in Charleston, SC. Jay retired as a U.S. Navy Captain after nearly 30 years old naval service.
After a short foray into the corporate world designing and building the next generation of nuclear submarines with General Dynamics Electric Boat in Connecticut, Jay found his passion helping people through the practice of law. Jay earned his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, FL. Jay's study of law had concentration in Elder Law with emphasis on estate planning, trusts, and business entities. Jay earned recognition in winning the Matthew Bender Elder Law book award for his studies in Elder Law.
Jay remains licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado, holds a U.S. Coast Guard Master's License, is a Commercial Multi-Engine Instrumental Rated Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor. He is married to Lauren P. Kohl, a Real Estate Attorney of Gibson, Kohl & Wolff of Sarasota, FL. They have five children.

Erik R. Lieberman | Attorney
ERIK R. LIEBERMAN was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on November 12, 1945. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1967 with a B.A. and received his J.D. from the George Washington School of Law in 1970. He is admitted to practice in Florida.
Mr. Lieberman was formerly an Estate Tax Attorney with the Internal Revenue Service. Prior to joining Kanetsky, Moore & DeBoer, he was a manager in the tax department of an international accounting firm.

Salli Struble | Lead Paralegal

Lisa Guttman | Paralegal
SALLI STRUBLE was born in Huntington, WV on December 23, 1956. She attended West Moreland Community College in Greensburg, PA and Manatee Community College in Venice, now known as State College of Florida. After a short career with Walt Disney World, Salli moved to Venice in 1979 along with her husband Keith. Salli joined the firm in May of 1982. In January of 1994, Salli completed the National Certification for Paralegal Exam and obtained her Certified Paralegal Certificate. Salli is one of the inaugural certified paralegals to also become a member of the Florida Bar as a Florida Registered Paralegal. Her focus has always been in the areas of probate, estate and trust administration her entire career and she has continued to attend continuing legal education seminars and classes each year to stay current in the legal probate & trust paralegal arena.
Salli has been a member of the Paralegal Association of Florida (PAF, INC.) since 1994 and is a two-time past President of the Suncoast Chapter of PAF, INC.

Lisa Guttman is a native Floridian, born in Plantation, Florida, on October 18, 1981. Lisa grew up in Palm Beach County, and moved to Sarasota County in 2005 with her husband, Joe. Lisa originally joined Kanetsky, Moore & DeBoer in 2005 and earned her Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Keiser College (now Keiser University) in 2006. She worked primarily in real estate, homeowners’ association law, and estate planning at that time. Lisa also earned the Certified Paralegal designation from the National Association of Legal Assistants in 2007.
Lisa switched gears in her career and attended nursing school in 2012. She earned her LPN license in 2013, having graduated valedictorian of her nursing class at Charlotte Technical Center. She went on to earn her RN license, graduating Cum Laude from State College of Florida. Finally, Lisa earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from University of Central Florida in 2019. Lisa worked primarily in the fields of intensive care and cardiovascular intensive care at local hospitals in Sarasota County. Lisa earned the CCRN and CSC designations from the American Association for Critical Care Nurses.
After almost ten years in the nursing field, Lisa has returned to her roots and re-joined the firm as an estate planning and probate paralegal. She is thrilled to use her varied knowledge and experience to assist the firm’s clients.
Lisa has been married for 17 years and has two children.

ROBERT J. DEBOER was born in Kalamazoo, MI on November 20, 1944. He graduated from Calvin College in 1967 and received his J.D. from the University of Miami in 1973. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1973.

ROBERT L. MOORE was born in Bowling Green, KY on May 20, 1941. He graduated from Stetson University with a B.A. in 1963 and from the University of Florida with a J.D. in 1967. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1968.

Murray Kanetsky | Attorney (Retired)
MURRAY KANETSKY was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 10, 1934. He received a B.A. from Brooklyn College in 1957, a B.I.E. (Industrial Engineering) in 1961 and a J.D. in 1963, both from the University of Florida.
Mr. Kanetsky was in practice from 1964 to 2015 in Venice, FL and was a member of the firm since its inception.
